About

Born in South Korea and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, I was lucky to be exposed to STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) in every aspect of my life. I channeled my unbounded inspiration and curiosity into a multitude of outlets from drawing to building to writing, because I am first and foremost a creator. I attended George Washington Carver Center for Arts and Technology, where I doubled majored in both Visual Arts and Theatre Design & Production. I was formally trained in drawing and painting under the guidance of Terry Shovlin and took leadership in the theatre department directed by Julianne Franz and Paul Diem.

However, my other calling as a creator came in the form of designing medical devices. I am currently a rising fourth-year at the Georgia Institute of Technology, majoring in Biomedical Engineering and minoring in Industrial Design. In my free time, I work at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta, lead the GT Engineers Without Borders Malawi Project, and am always down for a culinary adventure.
